Most of my chalkboards are drawn using Posca paint markers. These give an opaque, light fast and waterproof finish.
A quick spray with a clear sealant gives a long lasting finish to both indoor and outdoor signs.
This method is the most cost effective way to get
signs which stand out from the crowd.
We all know that sometimes descriptions and prices need to be changed which isn't a problem - Posca paint can be removed and retouched.
Aside from chalkboards, I also get asked to paint a wide range of other lettering jobs from boat names
to classic car number plates!
For these jobs I turn to One Shot Signwriters Enamel -
an oil based, high gloss enamel which
gives a permanent finish.
